AAMT offers type specific Gulfstream G550 Avionics training courses that provide comprehensive coverage of various aspects related to aircraft maintenance and operation. Here’s a breakdown of what we cover in our Avionics courses, specific to each aircraft:

  • A detailed understanding of the aircraft’s avionics and indicating systems as well as their primary functions, limitations and architecture.
  • A detailed knowledge of related components and their locations.
  • A working knowledge and interpretation of the aircraft’s maintenance manuals,
  • schematics and other technical documentation.
  • Familiarization with various maintenance checks related to the aircraft and the most common snags.
  • Special tooling and test equipment related to the aircraft.
  • Troubleshooting methods and an understanding of common faults.
  • Use of on-board maintenance systems. (OMS / CMC)

We also offer an optional, aircraft OJT based “Practical” Add on which can be combined with our avionics courses.

By incorporating all these elements into our training courses, we provide maintenance personnel with a well-rounded education that empowers them to handle a variety of situations effectively. The emphasis on adherence to technical data and industry best practices helps ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with aviation standards.

Knowledge Delivery:

In our Gulfstream G550 Avionics training course, we employ a dynamic and interactive approach to knowledge delivery, integrating various visual media, diagrams, and training aids alongside our comprehensive training manuals. In select cases, students will have the opportunity to witness live demonstrations, gaining a hands-on understanding of the aircraft systems.

Practical Hands-On Approach:

We believe in a “Practical hands-on” approach to maintenance training. Our instructors are active professionals in the field and stay up-to-date with the latest in-service developments. This ensures that our participants receive the most relevant and practical insights during their training.

Optional Practical Add-On:

For an enhanced learning experience, we offer an optional “Practical” add-on. In this add-on, our experienced instructor will be available for an additional two days to conduct an in-depth aircraft walk-around and cover specific maintenance tasks as per the participants’ preferences. This customization allows us to cater to the specific needs and interests of our valued customers.

We also offer Maintenance Initial and Line Maintenance training on the Gulfstream G550

Upon completing one of our courses and passing the examinations, participants will receive a certificate issued by AAMT.
