Course Overview

AAMT offers a courses dedicated to training Avionics Technicians at various levels.  This program is focused on giving avionics technicians a strong basis to further their career. 

This comprehensive training delves into the core principles and advanced concepts of avionics.  Designed for Avionics Technicians and aircraft personnel seeking a comprehensive understanding of avionics systems. It covers both analog and digital avionics systems, wire termination and more. 

To facilitate learning, the instructor covers the basics of aircraft wiring from both a Theoretical & Practical perspective, enabling students to have a clear grasp of each system’s functioning and how to interpret wiring diagrams, fault isolation manuals and other tools at their disposal. 

Avionics and electrical tooling such as DMC and others are introduced and explained, giving students an opportunity to work with our educators and test their skills in a practical environment. 

Upon completing this course, technicians will enhance their ability to communicate with flight crew, maintenance controllers, avionics suppliers and gain the confidence to troubleshoot problems at the component level, and effectively restore standard aircraft integrated systems to an airworthy standard.
