AAMT Joins the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA): Advancing Avionics Training
We are proud to announce that Academy Aviation Maintenance Training (AAMT) has officially become a member of the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA), reinforcing our commitment to high-quality aviation maintenance and avionics training.
AAMT is part of the Academy Aviation Group, an international group of companies providing quality education to the aviation sector alongside Academy 147 and ATC Dubai. This collaboration ensures that aviation professionals receive comprehensive, high-quality training tailored to the industry’s evolving demands.
About Aircraft Electronics Association AEA
Founded in 1957, the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) represents nearly 1,300 member companies across more than 40 countries, including approved maintenance organizations specializing in maintenance, repair, and installation of aircraft electronics systems in general aviation aircraft. The AEA membership also includes avionics manufacturers, instrument repair facilities, airframe manufacturers, test equipment manufacturers, major distributors, engineers, and educational institutions.
AAMT’s Contribution to Avionics Training
Our Avionics Initial Course expands on avionics systems and instrument theory, providing a detailed understanding of system operations and their interconnections with other aircraft systems. Upon completion, students will have in-depth knowledge of maintenance manuals, schematics, and other technical documents related to avionic systems. This course also focuses on maintenance checks, fault isolation, and basic troubleshooting procedures, guided by our expert instructors with years of industry experience.
This 5-day (40-hour) course is designed to provide a structured learning experience led by expert instructors.
The program is FAA / IA 8-hour refresher training approved per 8900.1 CHG 828 and is delivered in an instructor-led, cognitive-based training format. Participants have the flexibility to attend the training either virtually or in person, ensuring accessibility. The course follows a structured plan with defined objectives, assessments, and feedback mechanisms to enhance learning outcomes and skill retention.
