AAMT Scholarship Program – NBAA Maintenance Conference 2024

The AAMT Scholarship program was established in early 2024 in memory of Henry Schofield, one of AAMT’s team members who recently passed by due to cancer.   Henry was a talented A&P and always loved to share his knowledge.

This scholarship is part of AAMT’s commitment to contributing to the industry and helping facilitate the sharing of knowledge on important aircraft maintenance topics.

On May 1^st two winning students were awarded vouchers valid for attendance on an AAMT Initial level Maintenance course.  These FAA accepted courses are aircraft type specific maintenance courses that help technicians better understand the aircraft’s systems, maintenance practices and common snags encountered during maintenance.

AAMT, part of the Academy Global Group, together with Academy 147 and ATC Dubai offers a very large portfolio of aviation training courses on various topics such as aircraft type maintenance training, maintenance familiarization, avionics training, regulations, Logistics and Supply Chain, Dangerous Goods Regulations, Cabin Crew and more.

Aligned in their mission to address the skills deficit and perpetuate knowledge transfer across generations, AAMT, Academy 147, and ATC Dubai are steadfast in their commitment to delivering value-added training experiences. Through collaborative efforts with industry stakeholders like the NBAA, they strive to develop courses that resonate with the evolving needs of the aviation sector.

During the awards ceremony, AAMT Founder and Director, Andrew Trinchero gave a few words about new initiatives and how AAMT is working together with the industry to develop impactful training courses that address the skills shortage and help to pass knowledge on from one generation to another.
